Education
I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy, with a minor in Political Science, at San Francisco State University in 1989. I attended McGeorge School of Law, University of the Pacific, in Sacramento from 1989 to 1992, and interned at the Sacramento County Office of the Public Defender and the California Attorney General's Office. While at McGeorge, I chaired the Critical Legal Studies Forum. My Master of Arts degree in Philosophy from San Diego State University was awarded in May, 2008.
Personal
I was born and raised in San Diego’s South Bay, and lived in Californa until moving to the Boulder area in 2008. I enjoy scuba diving, motorcycling, and recording music in my home studio. I also pursue reading and writing philosophy as an independant scholar. My wife, Jenny, and I enjoy living high in the Rocky Mountains with our two cats.
